MERRY NIGHTCAP
This wonderful son of Midnight
Sun stood at Walkers West for many years, and captured the Sire
and Get classes like clockwork in the shows he attended. A
giant of a horse, he was considered to be the son most like
Midnight Sun, and was leased by Harlinsdale Farms to occupy the
stall left empty by Midnight Sun's death. Nightcap was
loved by everyone who met him, and is still sorely missed. |

JAMAICA SHAKER
This beautiful son of Merry
Nightcap carried on the Midnight Sun tradition into Canada, and
as far away as Scotland where one of his daughters,
Lacey's Star Shaker, was imported to take her
place as one of the foundation mares of the breed in the United
Kingdom. |

MIDNIGHT IKE,
thought by knowledgeable horsemen of his time, to
be the most promising son of Midnight Sun. He was a noted
show horse as well as a popular sire. |

Hill's
Perfection was bred as a young horse, under the name of
Reycliff's Mid-Merry, and then gelded. He
made quite a name for himself in the showing - had won more blue
ribbons than any other horse in the Celebration when they
retired him at the age of 24. The Perot family of Dallas
owned him for about the last 5 years of show career and Ross
Perot, Jr. showed him. He then was retired and became
the personal riding horse of Ross Perot, Sr. until Hill's
Perfection's death. The colts by him were mostly located
in South Dakota for some reason - maybe that is where he was
from originally or maybe someone up there bought him - bred
him and then sold him. Don't know - I do know that he
was not put into show training until he was a little older
than most horses. He was a great horse.
