Tennessee Walking Horse National Museum

The Tennessee Walking Horse National Museum is a public charity dedicated to preserving the history of the Tennessee Walking Horse. It shall be the mission of the Tennessee Walking Horse National Museum to establish a permanent home for the museum in Wartrace Tennessee which is known at the “Cradle of the Tennessee Walking Horse” by collecting, preserving and providing public access to artifacts, documents, and photographs which is known as the “Cradle of the Tennessee Walking Horse” by collecting, preserving and providing public access to artifacts, documents, and photographs which document the rich history of the Tennessee Walking Horse.

LIVING LEGEND ON DISPLAY

 The Tennessee Walking Horse National Museum will have a special living exhibit at the Museum in Wartrace on Saturday May 25th. “Trigger Treat”, a three time World Champion Model Tennessee Walking Horse will be in Wartrace with trainer and exhibitor Jeff Givens. Owned by Jo Ann Dowell of Powell, Ohio, “Trigger Treat” has won a total of 82 blue ribbons in horse shows across the country, and has been recognized as the people’s choice as the premier model walking horse by every major breed organization and publication. Trigger Treat is true Walking Horse Royalty being sired by world Champion “Trip My Trigger” and out of World Champion mare “Prowler’s Princess”. The public is invited to get up close and personal with Jeff givens and this great champion Walking Horse, and tour the Tennessee Walking Horse National Museum.
