Walkers West Main Page

19 year old “molly” mule, who is as sweet as she is pretty. She is patient, gentle and smooth-gaited. Ruth Anne has proven to be a consistent gaited mule whether mounted by kids or adults. She is easy to catch in the pasture and is easy to handle in the stall.

She was bred and raised by the Steve Clark family of Arab, Alabama. Mr. Clark is a gaited mule trainer, and Ruth Anne was his “personal” mule. Ms. Williams convinced Mr. Clark to sell her Ruth Anne in 2005. He was reluctant to sell her and Ms. Williams was eager to buy her. Ms. Williams’
barn manager, Daniel, has stacked his grand kids “three deep” on Ruth Anne and she is as “sweet as pie” with those kids. They ride her all over the pasture and arena.

She is stalled at night and pastured in the daytime.
