DESCRIPTION

Buck's Rascal Flatts is a beautiful double agouti cremello Tennessee Walking Horse stallion, with picture perfect conformation, a blaze and pretty blue eyes.  He is 15.2 hands tall. He has a nice flat walk, a wonderful running walk and the nicest rocking horse canter that I have ever ridden and it's all natural. This stallion is barefoot and has never worn shoes. Rascal is stunning, with a small head, little hooked ears, a long neck, a short back and a great hip and shoulder. He has excellent bone and muscle and rock hard feet.

Rascal has a calm and gentle disposition that makes him so easy to handle on the ground or under saddle. He's a great trail horse because he loves to go out for rides, is smooth and sure footed, and extremely laid back on the trail. I haven't found anything that has spooked or upset him so far. He's not only beautiful and naturally gaited, has wonderful bloodlines, special color genetics, but he's sane and sensible and rides well with other horses on the trail. Everyone comments on how quiet and respectful Rascal is even once when he was challenged by another stallion. I love this boy! What more can you ask for in your breeding stock to produce the best riding horses?

Buck's Rascal Flatts only has old bloodlines in his pedigree and he is unusual in that he does not trace back to Pride of Midnight. He should mix well with any mare's lineage, old or modern.

His color genetics are: eeAACrCr which means he will never have a red, black, smokey black, or smokey creme foal. He will only have buckskins or palominos with non-dilute mares. (see here for more information on the agouti gene.) With homozygous black mares he will throw 100% buckskin foals. With heterozygous black mares he will throw 50% buckskin and 50% palomino foals. With red mares he will throw 100% palomino foals.

Rascal is a Heritage Outcross in the Tennessee Walking Horse Heritage Society. Sired by The Buck Starts Here, out of Tanasi Topaz Goldmine, Buck's Rascal Flatts boasts a wide array of old time bloodlines, such as Threat's Velvet Frost, Travelers Moon Frost, Tate's Traveler, The Last Gold Chance, Gold On Parade, and Go Boy's Chatterbox.  His dam line includes Chance's Goldmine MF, Chance's Gold Dust H., John A's Chance, Tanasi Gold, Red Bud's Rascal, Gold Before The Storm, Red Bud Allen, and RIP. This young stallion offers serious breeders the rare opportunity to expand the gene pool of their modern herds with a heavy dose of genuine, barefoot, walking blood. Foaled 04/29/2010.

Buck's Rascal Flatts has been tested negative and vaccinated for EVA.
