Armed Son Of A Gun was bred by Jed Thompson of Terrell, TX.  He sold the dam, Chance's Golden Moonbeam before she foaled to W. L. and Carolyn Palmer of Mabank, TX.  The Palmers showed Armed Son Of A Gun as a yearling when he won the Southwest Walking Horse Futurity Championship.

Armed Son Of A Gun was sold to Linda Forston of Red Oak, TX, as a 2 year old and then sold again to Jed Thompson.  Jed placed the horse with noted Tennessee trainer, Jeff Givens, who campaigned him to the World Championship as a Model horse in 2001.


Armed Son Of A Gun winning the Yearling Championship at the State Fair of Texas Southwest Walking Horse Futurity.

DESCRIPTION

Armed Son Of A Gun is a breath-takingly beautiful, 10 year old, 15.3 hand, golden palomino Tennessee Walking Horse stallion, with a snow white mane and tail. This spectacular example of Walking Horse conformation was the World Champion Model Horse in 2001.   Sired by W G CH. Gen's Armed and Dangerous,  he passes beauty, wonderful gaits, and show ring presence as well as his molten gold color to his foals. SO PRETTY HE SHOULD BE IN MOVIES!!!
